4 tablespoons
brown sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon orange peel
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
6 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and sliced thin
1 1/2 cups low-fat granola

Preheat
oven to 350 degrees F. In an 8-inch square baking dish, mix
together first 6 ingredients in order given, stirring to mix
after each addition. Layer apples on top of mixture. Top with
granola, and bake for 40 minutes until the apples are tender
when pierced with a fork.
