The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists report that about 70-85% of new mothers experience the “baby blues” while about 10% of new mothers experience postpartum depression.
Please join us for this lunchtime presentation by Tamlynn Evans, APRN, BC, NP. This session will review: normal emotional changes associated with pregnancy and postpartum; symptoms of postpartum depression; other psychiatric disorders that can develop following birth of a baby; self-care techniques and treatment options.
